Rabida Island

Incontenible is the desire to feel the write and not fly to the Galapagos and enjoy Rabida Island. Its colorful red scattered in the sand (natural color) creates such a unique setting and its marine and semi-marine habitants.  Located about 965 km (600 miles) off the coast of Ecuador. But wonder why the red color? Is due to high iron content.  The flamingos, pelicans, boobies and other animals from Galapagos (Ecuador), predominate in the salt pond to be a major attraction.
